Aaron David Adair, age 34, of Bothell, died in a tragic work accident January 6th, 2014. He was born on April 29, 1979 to David and Deborah (Hilde) Adair.

Aaron grew up in Woodinville attending Woodinville High School. He participated in several activities including Boy Scouts, hockey, playing piano, snowboarding, fishing and hiking/camping trips with family and friends. He attended Lake Washington Vocational Technical Institute in Kirkland where he acquired his welding certifications. He loved working with his hands in construction and became an apprentice working for a neighbor and excelled as a journeyman joining Local 86 Iron workers Union. His most recent employer, North Coast Iron Corp, included foreman responsibilities on Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, and several local jobs in Bellevue, Poulsbo, Ballard, and Seattle.

In September 2011, his younger brother Brady introduced him to a coworker and friend, Amanda Arguello. The two began their shared passion for travel and the outdoors together, vacationing to the San Juan’s, crabbing in Puget Sound, thrill rides at Magic Mountain, and exploring the sites around his projects in Idaho and California. On their one year anniversary, a trip to Maui to visit Brady, also lead to Aaron’s sunrise proposal on the summit of Haleakala. The two shared a home in Bothell with their two cats they adopted as kittens in June 2012. His compassion, smile, and piano serenades will truly be missed.

Aaron is survived by his parents David and Debbie Adair, younger brother Brady, grandmother Irene Adair, aunts and uncles; Mike and Karen Funis, Mike and Nancy Bredengerd, Steve and Cathy Hilde, Wayne and Janett Hilde, Robin and Louis Selmer, and Carol and Lonnie Stutzman. Loving cousins; Justin and Jordan Bredengerd, Jen Wernet, Carley and Chelsey Funis, Ashley and Whitney Hilde, Allison and Michael Hilde, and Kevin and Ryan Stutzman. He joins his loving grandparents Robert Adair, Babe and Wally Hilde.

A memorial fund has been established by Kent Schluter of North Coast Iron in Aaron’s name. The family intends to build on the foundation of love and support they have found in each other during this time, and reach out to positively influence the community in Aarons memory. Donations can be made to any Whidbey Island Bank branch. Please make checks payable to the Aaron Adair Memorial Fund.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 1st at 11:00am at Eastlake Community Church, Bothell WA. The ceremony will be followed by a catered memoir production, with live vocal performances by family friends, Caety Sagoian and Sarina Macke. Wear your Seahawks attire.
